RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:When to start a position on LRE?I rated this a 5 star post, JB, I hope your figures are accurate and that management has the skills to maintain the cash flow above the loan requirements - I have expressed my thoughts to management about the dividend - they are basically the same as what you stated...The oil and gas industry is important to Canada as it is important to every other oil producing country in the world from jobs, transportation and even pension plans, its reach is deep and complex and large swings in the price do most of its participants little good, only the scum that exploit that volitility benefit.
I realize that some sectors of the economy benefit greatly with a lower energy price but in my view, increases in use because of lower prices in the long run are harmful to our environment as it discourages low carbon energy development and that is bad for everyone.
