I realize that some sectors of the economy benefit greatly with a lower energy price but in my view, increases in use because of lower prices in the long run are harmful to our environment as it discourages low carbon energy development and that is bad for everyone.

I agree I also gave it 5 stars - I also hope that his figures are accurate but it definitely makes sense, I bet management didn't think of that! and hopefully management have skills and common sense like us.

and you ARE definitely right that carbon is bad for everyone that's why I have 3 carbon monoxide detector in my house - one for each floor.

you're also correct that oil/gas is important to Canada, well mostly Alberta but we all get a piece of that.

By the way you are also right that those scum need to do something else than exploit the volatility in the oil/gas industry.

By the way - nat gas is also going down, it was $4.50 two weeks ago, now is 3.65 US - do you know why? its winter right? but how does that affect LRE and other oil/gas company - will they make less, the same as last year?

I hope this winter is like the winter of last year so that the natgas is back to $6 and higher and we can all make money.

thanks for your post, that was really insightful, I feel good now.
