They had no choice but to react to the circumstances they find themselves in and have they done a formidable job managing through two failed JV's, I think so. In regards to privatization... What you have to remember is that the big 3 gain control when the minority doesn't do their share. As much as they might be posturing to take this private, if the minority subscribes to the offerings, holds on to their shares the big 3 can't make the ground up you feel they want/need. Do your part or don't, but don't blame the big 3 for picking up what we leave behind. If the offering price is presumed an advantage to the big 3 why isn't it an equal advantage to the minority SH? If you believe they're amassing to take it private isn't it an indication it might be a valuable company to own?
