I've seen the numbers for breakeven on the biggest shale plays. I'm guessing based on published numbers that 50 to 65 will turn off enough drill bits to meet the number of bbls/d the world can consume. The world needs 2MM bbl/d less oil. Problem is- will the drills fire back up at 65 or higher. If so, we would go down again.

Nat Gas is probably a better bet now. It is at the bottom. Can only go up and there are potentially big uses for NG. It is so much cleaner than coal.
