Orange is a long term investor

Orange is a long term investorOrange is probably averaged in at around the $7.25-$7.50 range. I've always said that with falling commodity prices there is a lesser chance of an acquisition.

Some producers will have to sell because of streched balance sheets and debt, but BXE is not one of these.

So investors will wait now in anticipation of some companies being forced to put themselves up on the auction block. They'll also wait because other companies will dispose of some of their assets to raise funds.

Good companies, if they had visions of putting themselves up for sale, will wait until the values go up. Orange is in it for the long haul either by design or by default. But I've got to think that they are long term thinkers seeing great value when they find it. I don't think they're averaging down so they can force a sale and get out. Maybe their timing was bad. But many activists only hold a few companies and stick with them for years. It part of the territory.
