I still don't understand why he doesn't just leave everything as it is and sells when the story of qsolars has become a succes story and the share price level is at 2$ plus.

Could it be that the CIO wanted him to sell ? To reduce his percentage of ownership ? Remenber, he started selling way before it became obvious, that the certification process would take that long.

Elsewise, I can only think about some predatory motivation.

Isn't Mr. Xie or one of his companies QSOLAR's joined venture partner in China. How would a succes story be working with partners at war ? Wouldn't it be mandatory by law to share such a business risk with the shareholders?

.....

I can wait ... the secret will unfold some time.

Meanwhile, the only things important are more sales to generate cash flow and the rest of the certifications.
