RE:Langur's cost, 0% Water & the 9 Development Wells by Q1 2015The 5.5 mil cost does seem very low if it's correct. Does anyone have a drilling cost offhand for a typical LM well at about the same depth (13,700 feet)? The well was completed very quickly. Maybe the maximum much higher carry amount included budgeting for problems, sidetracks or difficult rock formations that were never encountered? It could also be that rig rates are dropping dramatically in Colombia already. Oil is down, capital is drying up for many companies and drilling is going to drop. Rig owners must be desperate to lease rigs to companies like PTA that can still afford to drill. Cash is king. But of course some folks didn't figure dropping costs into their bearish projections - LOL.
