Market Action

Market Action The action of Peters is the key to what happened to TBE is the two weeks of trading.

TBE was weak with very few bids last week. There were few sellers that wanted to get out. It seemed last week that TBE will not hold $1.00. But it was Peter who held the stock above $1.00 by buying shares from a $1. to about $1.10. Gave a chance to some to get out.

He used different methods. He had iceberg orders where the visible order was about 1500 shares at times. There were times when it took out offers.

Basically Peter was the only buyer that was standing & preventing sub $ price. One day Peters took out 1.4m shares from BMO in matter of minutes. CIBC bougth some shares that day. There were times when HFT traded large blocks. Jetney was trading for small spreads & yesterday he got stuck with some shares he could not sell.

Today had all the markings of a nasty trading day for Canada. US futures were down & Oil has tanked big time. Right at the open stocks in Canada including banks gapped down & the race was on to get out fast. Large positions take time & cause lot of damage.

TBE opened $.03 lower. There was a chance that it would have traded & closed lower. It was not expected that it would created an intraday low of $.78 & would be down 22% at one time. I was thinking that the stock was hold $.85 the next support level. But it did not.

Selling was too aggressive & it was being done by one large sellers. Peters who had bought about 3.3 million net 2.5m shares just on TMX recently at the average price of $1.08 & prevented the stock from tanking below a $1.00 was dumping & hitting every bid.

Today the stock would have dropped but it was Peters who collapsed the stock & never allowed it to bounce because he was dumping shares constantly. Taking out large bids one after other . He then finally crossed 4.5 m shares at $.78 few minutes before the close where the pressure on the stock was reduced.

Just on TMX Peter sold 1.5 million shares at average share price around $.82 but due to the cross of 4.5m shares the average price dropped to $.79

It was Peter’s very aggressive selling that caused some extra damage to the share price.
