RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Calvalley Petroleum Inc. Operations update (Analysis)Since CVI has done so well as you mentioned why the share price is falling, why the production is falling, why the company is laying off employees.
All what I have seen so far is decline in everything. The government of Yemen and the shareholders are the ones who are paying as these expenses. Look at the administrative expenses you will find that the amount has increased in 2014. From what we have seen from the strikes the company is having, the increment happened in Calgary office not in Yemen. Ed is generous to increase the salaries for those he considers as close employees and ignoring everyone else. If this not the case the union will not go on strike.
For the other companies in Yemen, TOTAL, DOVE, Hunt will not drill any wells because they will leave Yemen in 2015 as their PSA will expire. DNO sized their developments because of the conflicts between the company and the Union. The only company is making everybody happy is OMV. Their production is the same; their plans are increasing, they are taking advantage of the situation in Yemen. Their labor union is happy.
From the above, the only company is doing money and neglecting the developments of block 9 is Calvalley. The management making money with these buy backs and transferring shares. They are afraid the same action happened from DNO to happen again from different company. They are neglecting the block 9 operation by not increasing the production and focusing on how to lay off people. They are the only company that has many cases at courts.
The market is the judge for what is happening and what is happening is not in CVI favor. If CVI are doing good and the market realize it, the price would have increased and we won’t have this discussion.
