RE:RE:any reason for decline?Perhaps tax loss selling. Maybe fear of a general economic & market collapse. The prospect of higher interest rates is often cited when REIT shares decline. But this kind of precipitous drop is more in keeping the opposite - the prospect of near zero interest rates for an indefinite period stilling being insufficient to encourage real economic recovery. Also, as many conservative investors hold REITs - it is what that have available to sell. -GLTA
