Yes Sir, around 17 hours of flight time in a single day !

Bombardier Aerospace is progressing on the testing of its new CSeries passenger jet, thanks in no small part to its having become an increasingly regular sight in the sky above the Air Capital.

According to a video posted by AirInsight, Rob Dewar, vice president and general manager of the CSeries program, says the plane has now completed static testing.

Meanwhile, the flight hours are beginning to add up.

That includes having recently had all four of the test aircraft in the air at the same time, knocking out around 17 hours of flight time in a single day.

Bombardier's Wichita facility has been key in the testing program, as it has helped provide a secondary site — one with weather that is often better than in the company's headquarters near Montreal — from which flights could be operated.
