Thanks I think to TD Bank. The USA government to introduce tougher capital requirements on USA banks today. I dont think the USA government was very happy about TD entering the USA market but I think TD has been showing them how to fix their banking regulations. New capital requirements will lower bank profits for sure in USA and the old boys club on Wall street wont like that. The markets are becoming a joke and you need look no further than Bank Of America which lost 2 cents yesterday. Now if you consider the new capital requirements and BAC already trades at 42 PE ratio.... On the other hand TD Bank will look pretty sweet.

The US government actually came to TD to pick up insolvent banks. The fed gave them pretty sweet deals on a lot of aquisitions. Buy the bricks and mortar, deposits and good loans and the fed ate the rest.
