The Funds secondary investment objective is capital appreciation The Fund seeks to achieve its investment objectives by investing at least 80% of its managed assets (i.e., net assets plus assets obtained through leverage) in a portfolio of preferred and other income securities issued by U.S. and non-U.S. companies, which may be either exchange-traded or available over-the-counter. In pursuing its investment objectives, the Fund seeks to achieve favorable after-tax returns for its shareholders by seeking to minimize the U.S. federal income tax consequences on income generated by the Fund. There can be no assurance that the Fund will achieve its investment objectives.

Thanks Perdika for the reminder about how good the N Sands play is. It is very good news if the play gets extended by wells like this. Those 2,000 - 4,000 bopd wells are going to profitable (even if we only have 15% of each) with oil at any reasonable price. Drilling a well like that to eke out 300 bopd may no longer be profitable, but 2,000 bopd is a lot of oil even at lower prices. Especially so, if Vetra / PTA are now shipping oil on a cheaper route to the OCP pipeline. Hope we get an update on that soon as well.
