My Take

My TakeI think it's important to have as many points of view as possible, if for no other reason but to contradict my own so that I might be forced to weigh all the variables. I think there are two camps here and they've been very beneficial in creating a board that helps to do what a board should do, expand the discussion and thinking about the prospects of PGD. There is a mine there, I think everyone agrees with that, but there are plenty of oil wells all over the world that are not being tapped and they change hands several times before ever being tapped. That being said I've read a bit about Mr. Friedland and considering their track record I would be willing to bet that the chances are greater that they will be the ones building a mine on Baffin Island, the only thing that everyone is really in the dark about is the timeline. But it can take on average 10-15 years to get a mine to production, Diavik took 12 years before it was producing, so in that sense to me PGD is more or less on track, I have the time so I'm ok with that.
