EDC Mission is to provide financing for canadian companies

EDC Mission is to provide financing for canadian companies

By the way before I start thanks for the lock out who ever.   Real mature!!!!!  You are only making me more determined.  So a lesson on the EDC for those that are unsure.  Its mission is to help Canadian Businesses do business abroad.  It aims to help Canadian firms become global.  It does not only focus on export jobs.  It invests in projects that create jobs in Canada of course, but it also invests in projects that help develoop economies and stabilize the business environment in areas Canaidan companies want to do business.

"Canadian companies often cite a lack of financing as one of the key barriers to managing their cash flow and implementing their expansion plans. An EDC Research Panel survey* found 86 per cent of companies that have made overseas business investments used company cash to fund their investments, while 38 per cent reported borrowing the cash for this purpose.See the statement taken from their site.

Don’t let a lack of financing stand in your way. Whether you’re looking to break into a new market, fill an order or participate in a large-scale global project, our financing solutions can help you access a reliable source of working capital to keep your sales cycle running smoothly."

The BDC and EDC often invest in Canadian companies doing business and creating jobs in regions that benefit Canadian Businesses joint best interests.  Creati
ng jobs in Africa has very likely helped with Blackberry's Success in Africa and in that way returned jobs to Canada.  Lest not simplify things too much.  All Allana has to do is show other interest and apply to both the EDC and BDC and they may lend causing other lenders to precieve less risk.   That is their JOB.  They are both Bankers and Political economic tools.  It is too bad more Canadian's do not follow the governments example and invest in Kiva loans to help stabilize economies in areas they invest.  For example micro loans focused on African Agriculture could in the long run help Allana longs.  And the best thing is it is a loan not Charity.
