RE:RE:RE:RBC Dominion Securities Inc.

RE:RE:RE:RBC Dominion Securities Inc.Thank you for that reuters reference.  It simply confirms the pre-existing 2012 USA tariff on solar panels from China to combat anti-dumping.  It appears the Chinese company was trying to avoid the 2012 tariff by manufacturing solar panels in China using Taiwanese cells in their modules.  The ruling is that if the panel is manufactured in China, the tariff applies, thus closing that perceived loophole.

The situation with Q's specialty (non panel) products such as the golf cart kits and the portable power units was thought to be exempt from the anti-dumping tariff given the same Chinese government subsidies didn't apply to them and the products were sufficiently unique as to not have domestic US competition.  The recent $450K order from Arizona, USA was for such specialty products and I am just wondering whether the solar panel penal tariff was waived for those specialty products and whether they have now been delivered.
