RE:PapaFritz - tried to "reply" but screen is messed upWaitingstill; I like to hedge my bet when I can and I used to own all the Kenyans, thankfully sold VEL and sold most of my AOI on the sell off but have been adding in the low $2. range.
I have a decent amount of TPN but been bullish on SMB because of their diverse properties; Kenya, Guinea, Chad, Liberia which all seem to have elephant sized O&G potential.
They've struggled but the key with these little players is the properties. There is a lot of oil & gas in Kenya and TPN/SMB are situated right in the middle of several discoveries, shows working hydrocarbon systems and now gas. (Sala-1)
TPN is ahead of SMB which is excellent but look at the map and where TPN is drilling (Badada) and it is practically on Simba's border - what's good for TPN then should then also be good for SMB now down at 3 cents / share! Maybe Taipan hits and Simba gets taken over? Or runs and if it runs there's a lot of blue sky above 3 cents!! ;o) Nothing is certain but Badada does look to extend North where SMB's block joins TPN's!
I am betting on is that if TPN hits, SMB will have success as well.
Simba ran to its all time high when AOI made its first discovery in Kenya in 2012, looking for a similar thing to happen when TPN announces their first 100M of net pay!
Oil won't be $60. for ever and when these jr.s go into production in 2016 or so, Oil will be up and the profit margins should make us all a lot of money! Take a look at simba recent presentation, despite the delays, their projects are solid.
