Caribou/Trevali

Caribou/TrevaliI was curious how much concentrate could come from the Caribou Zn mine in NB once it is up and running so I did some very basic calculations.

mill throughput: 3000 t/day
ore grade:         7% Zn
Zn recovery:      83%
= 174.3 tonne Zn/day

x ~ 90 days/q
=~ 15,700 tonne Zn/quarter

Based on recent earnings, we are producing roughly 65000 tonnes of Zn per quarter

So my estimate is that the Caribou Min could supply enough con to maintain roughly 25% of our current Zn production.
