RE:RE:RE:IS PINETREE DEAD?
PNP s stuck /n hard palce and a ock If their investment portfolio goes down in valuethen they will breac ther debt covenants again an will be forced to sell. That mighthapen or it might not. Now they seem heavily concentrated in 8 companeis and big moves on the downside cold hurt PNP debt ratios. thus yu have to wathfor any big moves in th following companies (see below if link works). But most heavily they rlied upon POET and Spere 3D. on the bright side big move up in any of those would improve thir NAV materially. Also mgmt might decide to buy out debt on the mrket with heir own money but i ae no idea how big their pockts re to orchestrate a move like that. Also keep in mind there is always a chance with distressed companies that mgmt might decide to cook the books as their lives depend these days on valuation of their portfolio. in PNP's case they could get creative with warrants and especially private investments. i would put this into unlikley but possible scenario. My breaking point is around 16 US cents. But if thing turn poitive they wuld turn very queckly. However bad scenario is also possible but has a lower chance than upside. my only concern is that the CEO has switched hist sartegy twice already and he seems to be more of a gambler than i thought 2 years ago.
