RE:RE:RE:This f***king guys keep talking oil down
So true oilman ....   like you say ....    it is just a matter of economics.   It is funny how there seem to be a few here that cannot understand this.   Wipe out the high priced fracking companies and in a year or so the existing wells will start to deteriorate quickly and the price of oil will increase.  Just a matter of time.

It will be the same as throughout history ....     the strong will survive and the weak shall perish and in the end everything will balance out accordingly.  The U.S. will end up buying more oil from the Saudi's as they will keep their prices lower than the fracking prices in the U.S. ( which is what the Saudi's want ) and therefore make sure that the high cost fracking  does not come back anytime soon.

I think those that keep talking about oil getting back up to $80 is not a realistic outlook anytime in the forseeable future.   The Saudi's will not let it happen.

The economics are pretty easy to understand actually.

The Saudis maybe a lot of things but they are not stupid.  They were seeing their markets squeezed out by high cost producers and decided to do something about it.  Their lifting and development costs are so much lower than anybodly else, so they can squueze until the marginal barrels (ie the US and Canadian high costs producers) have been reduced.  Economics 101
