RE:RE:RIL demands arbitration to start emmediatlyIndia is the second most litigious country after the US. The only difference is that the US system works. The Indian system is a joke!
If all new legal cases were stopped today - it would take 20 years to clean up all of the existing litigations.
Has anyone ever heard of a case being settled?
The government likes arbitrations as it puts them in a postion of not having to make a decision but in reality the reason the Indian oil business is so dysfunconal is because of the bloated governmental buracracy and corruption.
Don't invest based on an 'arbitration' ruling - it will never happen.
