Boss - when times were good and drilling contractors were asking top dollar, HQ diameter core was about $120 per metre. Assaying, a fire assay and ICP, about $30 per sample. If samples average one metre, then looking at drilling and assaying only, assaying is 20% of costs - hardly "barely registering". Right now there are not a lot of "uncles" who have the cash to fund a mine. While there are opportunities for M & A right now, BGM does not appear to be high on anyone's radar.
