There are five projects at CERN using Zecotek’s third generation solid-state MAPD photo detectors and all of the experiments demand higher energies and five key parameters from photo detectors: low cost, high photo-detection efficiency, very high linearity, significant radiation hardness, and a low recovery time.  Zecotek’s patented solid-state MAPD-3N photo detectors meet all of the parameters including an optimum low recovery time, which has been fine tuned to a level commanded by all CERN experiments.
