The market can remain irrational longer than an investor can
The old saw: " The market can remain irrational longer than an investor can remain solvent" has never been more true than it is today with ALGOs running the show. On a bright spot that great Ho, Obama, is about to reverse the ban on US oil exports to allow shale oil and condensate a pass to sail abroad. There seems little doubt we'll see a massive upwards move in oil prices, the question is "when". I would think year end evaluations and subsequent mark down of reserves and reductions of lines of credit that will becoming out at the end of the 1st quarter will be like the ice bucket challenge that swept social media this year. And the real quandary in my confused mind is whether the best place to sink some coins will be in the pure E&Ps or the SGY style DivCo. OTOH, there is always Facebook.....
