bentek 1/7/2015 | 5:47 AMMidcon Observer - Storage withdrawals soar amid hovering cold Midcontinent demand is seen reaching roughly 37.8 Bcf/d Wednesday, which would be the highest single-day total since January 2014 and the sixth ...largest on record. As a result, storage withdrawals within the region and in close proximity will be called upon to shoulder the elevated demand. Bentek's storage sample in the Midcon indicates withdrawals of nearly 9.5 Bcf/d for Wednesday, which is roughly double the previous 7-day average, as facilities such as ANR and NGPL pull noticeably large amounts. In addition to regional fields, Bentek estimates that Ontario facilities, which can serve upper Midwest demand via Great Lakes, are anticipated to withdraw more than 5.1 Bcf/d for today's gas day or the largest amount on record, to help supply elevated demand. Midcon demand is expected to remain above 35 Bcf/d into the weekend, which should place continued reliance on storage. 1/7/2015 | 5:47 AM
