Compensation Money

Compensation MoneyOkay, we are looking at over a year now since the paperwork was filed for the compensation money. Time for the government to pay us what is owed. The government has dragged their feet long enough. If this goes on much longer the company should retain legal counsel. As others have pointed out, if AOS owed the Government of Alberta, the money would have been paid a long time ago or there would have no doubt been stiff penalties. So much for the province cancelling the Fort McMurray leases anyways, this has turned out to be an ill timed move. Tax revenues from oil will be way down this year. Property values in Fort Mac are apparently tanking. I have read anywhere up to 20 % over the past year. I feel bad for those property owners. Companies in the oil patch are dialing back on expansion plans and reducing dividends. What is done is done, you cancelled the leases, now pay up./ok2
