RE:RE:RE:news for nato
RE:RE:RE:news for natoWhen that article was written, WCS was $70 and WTI was $85, not $33 and $48, respectively.
If these prices continue US shale production will tank and Alberta production will ALSo be under pressure.......less supply, plenty of distribution capacity.......less value for Canexus.
If I'm a producer what use do I have for an asset that's already contracted out at capacity?..... None! The contracts are good for some investors, but a limitation for the Imperials and Meg's of the world for sure.
smart and big money is sitting on the sidelines waiting for CUS to default ...... And then the real bidding will begin, in bankruptcy auction, that is. Nobody wants to reward this management team with any bid.....they are truly the laughingstock of the oil patch. They ain't just bidding on the asset, but the debt too!......eeeeew.
