RE:Pretty simple

RE:Pretty simple

I agree it is very high risk and possibly high reward.      You have to look into it a little further than just one year.

In the past 5 years ( since inception  ) LTS has been on a steady downward trend.    She has fallen from $35 down to $1  in 5 years.   Even when oil was steadily increasing  ( till last summer )   LTS kept falling lower.

THere is obviously a reason for this.   Other oil stocks were increasing as oil increased.

Also I do not believe that oil will be increasing back up to the $70 - $80 dollar range anytime in the forseeable future.    I do not believe that the Saudis will let it happen as if they did then by pushing it down now would be futile.     They have done this to knock out the shale players in North America and if they let the oil price go back up to the $70 -$80 range then the shale players will be right back where they were before being able to make a buck again.

The Saudis want the U.S. to continue buying from them and not become self sufficient ...   which was what was going to happen around 2016  with the shale plays.

So now back to LTS.      There have been some big outfits that have recently downgaded her from a hold ( as seen below ).     They have done this for a reason ....    no matter what those on the bullboard here imply.

And this is without oil dropping any further.

There are always " upticks " in share prices ....    even in a downtrending chart so for traders that wish to try and make a buck then they probably will.     But as far as a long term hold  then it is very unlikely .    Once again take a look at her 5 year chart below.
