RE:RE:Importance of low stripping ratios (part 2)

RE:RE:Importance of low stripping ratios (part 2)Focus Graphite has the highest purity concentrate, Mason Graphite has the lowest OPEX/CAPEX (PEA result, we should wait for DFS for confirmation).

if Alabama graphite could beat Mason for its low OPEX (less than 390$) /CAPEX (less than 90M$) yet delivering the same purity concentrate (96%), Albama Graphite could indeed become the most interesting graphite play in north america.

While i am optimistic about the low CAPEX (the ONLY true at surface graphite deposit in north america), I am not so optimistic about the low OPEX (due to low head grade of only 3-4%), even assuming an impressive low waste to ore ratio (say 0.25 : 1 a la northern graphite).

But anyway, what matters most is really CAPEX, if your capex is so high that you cant get financing, then it dosent matter how much low your OPEX is (maybe thats why Focus graphite didnt yet find financing, despite their impressive deposit of the highest purity concentrate in the market and relatively low OPEX)
