Thank you Roscoe

Thank you RoscoeIs this going to be a popular post on the PPY board?!? ;o)

For all the complaints one might have against Roscoe's continues negative slant towards PPY, I have to thank him for providing some valuable perspective. It is very dangerous to fall in love with a stock. I fell in love with PPY and so I always appreciate the perspective of someone who is willing to take the other side of the investment thesis.

I must say that a prudent strategy would be to wait until the LNG decision is taken, you might miss a 10% jump at announcement but from which base price? The stock could fall further as negative sentiment about Canadian producers persist. The Montney is an amazing play and I have stakes in many of the players (ECA, DEE, AAV, PPY) but there is a glut of NG in North America. The Marcellus gas is starting to crowd out gas from other regions, including Canada. AECO is decoupling from Henry Hub more and more and until LNG or other sources of demand kick in, there will be an oversupply of gas.

I will be buying many more shares once a positive LNG position has been made. PPY remains a formidable firm with high growth prospects but there is no need to rush in now. GLTA!
