RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Times like these bring out the management...Although entirely removing the dividend is a prudent measure… Remember, if the company can possibly maintain a dividend it’s actually good for the shareholders long term – especially if money invested is borrowed by the shareholders. Interest paid on investment to earn dividend income is deductible, where to earn capital gains is not. Also, it sends a message of confidence to the current shareholders and maintains obligation to any fixed income investors (pension funds, for example). GWH
