Just read an article in Bloomberg that said Saudi Prince has said that they are willing to INCREASE production to drive oil further down. Their stated on the record intention is to wipe out U.S shale expansion ( and oils sands), and set back U.S production for decades just like in 1986. In essence their intentionis to wipe out North American ( and other OPEC countries ) production capacity to ensure their contro; of the marjet. They want it brutal but quick. 1 year of heavy losses is worth another decade or two of market control. If I was President I'd do the following..Declare the United States energy independant and stop trading with OPEC. Canada, U.S and Mexico can form an energy alliance with a price being fixed at an agreeable level to all partners. YES Government price control is very Totalitarian but considering how much our governments depend on high oil prices to fund social programs it may be the lesser of two evils. Once this occurs I'd either A- military strike against Saudie Arabia ( pay back for 911) to put those greedy MOFO'S back in the stone age.or 2- Let the Saudis enemies, Primarily Iran and Iraq, know that the United State Military is no longer in the business of protecting Saudi Arabia and let the games begin.
Wow! You truly have figured out the world.
