Upon approval the selling of 100 units to meet 2015 expectations have been met...
I think the better question to ask at this juncture.. is about those ads Theralase posted about the sales manager position and sales reps...
Anyone know whether they got taken down??? what's the status of the recruitment process?
Then one might 'suggest' that units have or have not been 'pre-sold' in terms of 'justifying' another salaried position on TLT's books.
Here's hoping that's true.

I can only make observations based on TLT documents/interviews.
1. I believe they do have new sales reps. I don't recall their staff including this many reps.

Four territorial sales managers.
One inside sales rep.
One marketing cordinator.
2. I believe they are still hiring additional sales staff.

Marketing Communications Coordinator
Inside Sales Representative
Director of Marketing
Director of Sales
The successful candidate will have 10+ years of documented experience in leading their team to grow the revenue of medical device companies selling in Canada and the US from < $2 M in sales to more than > $50 M within 5 years. Their proven and well executed sales strategy, coupled with their excellent interpersonal skills, drive to succeed, natural leadership abilities and good old fashioned hard work will create the environment to allow their direct report Territory Sales Managers (“TSMs”), led by their hands-on example, to consistently achieve and / or surpass their quarterly and annual sales objectives.
2. Their latest sedar documents indicate that complete cost of sales are not factored in yet since they are waiting until sales can be converted, thus offset. .. which to me means that they are waiting for TLC2000 launch before full sales arsenal on board.
3. Preorders. They've discussed in the past their emphasis on upgrade paths with customers, even offering discounts and flexible plans.
"Theralase plans to phase out the TLC-1000 system and incentivize its customers to upgrade to the latest technology, the TLC-2000"
"Theralase is also launching 5 beta prototypes for beta testing by Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) shortly and then supply pre-commercial prototypes to its Canadian Territory Sales Managers (TSMs) for solicitation of orders and trade-ups of the existing TLC-1000 technology from its existing customer base.
When 4q2015, 1q2015 are out, I'm guessing you'll see very light tlc1000 sales compared to the same periods a year earlier or say 5 years historically... which to me would be customers lined up for TLC2000. It's pretty hard to sell a device even with a good long history when the next generation device to replace it, which has been in development for over 10 years is right around the corner.
4. Roger is hoping to sell 100 units in the first three months per Cory Fleck
"After chatting to Roger White regarding the expected sales of the TLC 2000 he states that they hope to sell around 100 units in the first three months after hitting the market (which is roughly 33 units per month). For conservative sake we will use a lower figure of 15 units to run our numbers. We will also use a profit margin of 70% instead of 75%. Over my time investing, conservative estimates have never lead me astray.
If Theralase can sell 15 units a month at a 70% margin the company would generate $157,500/month. This number would cover the 150k/month of operating expenses and the continued cancer division research.
As I stated above, the therapeutic division provides a base to the stock price. We should not expect booming sales of the TLC-2000 which would catch investor’s eyes but rather a steady stream of cash entering the company to offset the costs of starting the cancer trails. I continue to believe Theralase is financially strong moving into 2015"
So yeah, it'd be interesting to know if that sales soliciation for upgrades has started and if that has equated into preorders.
