Question on MD & A

I read "Management's discussion and analysis" a bit detail.
The Net Income was positive, $74,000 in this quarter, but there was a big Negative Finance Income $5M. It was only $20,000 in 2013 Q3 quarter.
The Finance Income of Q2 2014-2015 was also big negative number $9.3M.
If anyone knows what this is, could you please explain?
Why is this so big in 2014-2015?
