Kaiser - Panel discussion

Kaiser - Panel discussionFunding Juniors.

US rep type speaker said that the US Pension/Private industry do not even list mining as a sector.
It is a line item in the diversified part called Real Assets.
REITs/Timber/Infrastructure are all part of that and are all hitting 52 week highs. Oil is part of that as well and up until recently was hitting 52 week highs. Mining not so lucky.
Actively looking at sector with possible allocation of $$'s in the next year or 2.

Retail investors - Banks tell investors that they should be investing in speculative mining sector (This is in Canada).

Suggestions to help the industry:
Tax change - Capital gain exemption?
Government Geological survey division expansion.

There is one point (sarcasm/reality?) about regulation and one offhand comment was that the regulators phone a company the instant the stock appreciates 25% and asks why... The company then says..I don't know, maybe it is because the stock is at 10 cents and someone bought 50K shares to move the price up to 12.5 cents. Can you imagine someone actually BUYING 50K shares of a junior resource company.
