Miner, I sold half my position at 0.22 cents. Took a hit from avg of 0.30. The other half is truly rolling the roulette wheel. PTA's reserves have not grown through the drill. Even after acquiring Surocco they have failed to bring shareholders value. People can pump this company all they want....but im not a buyer. I've now realized PTA as a non-operator spells trouble. I didn't realize that before, didnt do my dd.

Perdy is trying to entertain us while we're at the PTA three ring circus.  His posts are not designed to inform, they're not for the most part coherent or convincing, and when he's called out on it, he lashes out with personal attacks and states how many people have ignored a given user, which have zero relevance to discussing information about stocks credibly.  They are the tactics that children employ in grade 3 social settings, however he's much older.
Treat it as your daily entertainment value, and thank your maker whom gave you better critical reasoning and social skills!
On the non operator thing.  Colombia has become hostile to undercapitalized juniors.  As a country they felt burned in government by the land speculators who came in prior land Ronda's with promises and no money, just trying to trade land blocks like playing cards.  National policy has been to squeeze these guys out.  Suroco couldn't get operator status to save their life.  Nor can Petramerica or the handful of other small companies.  It won't change anytime soon.  Colombia wants them gone, they prefer the intermediate multinationals participating in their hydrocarbon industry.
If you really want to take your DD one step further, read the Suroco AIF on the Suroriente block, PTA doesn't have an AIF out yet with this detail in it.  It expires in 2023.  We're entering a year or two of little drilling, meaning you're not going to build much production from here.  So 2 years out you're going to have the declining production base on Suroriente and 6 years left on the contract.  What reserves are booked in 6 years?  What PUDS?  What Probables?  Who actually can run only 6 years left in a contract through a model and justify new drills on the property in 2016?  Not much, none, none, nobody are the answers.  Those wells don't pay out fast enough to generate suitable returns then.  This price downturn is essentially marking the end of the Suroriente block.  So you have what's left... the couple new discoveries and declining Las Maracas.  Good luck.
