RE:RE:Notice of special meeting - not goodIf there was any offer to sell or anything else that would have a material impact on the value of the business, the cash flows of the business, etc., they would have had to announce something.  You can't just post a notice of a special meeting to SEDAR and not press release it if the context of the meeting is going to be material to the business.  You can't post the notice to SEDAR and send out the packages to shareholders and use that as your full disclosure.  They are either getting bad advice or are undertaking a process which is out of the ordinary.
