I think U are wrong, Samsung doesn't need BB10 nor BBM!!!
Samsung is after:

1) IOT
2)BES 12
3)QNX

Samsung already has the Tizen OS which has the Android run time "Simillar to BB10". I think BLACKBERRY has helped Samsung to develope the Android run time, It is probably writen
in Ansi code and recmpiled, which is easy peasy for BLACKBERRY!
