RE:Question form a New Guy ... Q) Are any, some, all, projects on hold ???
Ans: Yes some LNG projects are on hold or are delayed. The LNG projects are long of term duration with completion deadlines out to 2018 or beyond. Most of HBK's immediate business will come fom Local/Provincial non-LNG construction.
Q) Difficult to find out what the status of construction for the projects is/are ...
Ans: Yes, it is isn't? Takes a lot of work - e.g. reading various reports in various places, contacting various people, attending AGM's, conferences etc. There is no single source of information that can be solely relied upon. There is some political posturing involved, too.
Q) Is there a projected glut of LNG forecast ?
Ans: Depends on whose forecast you read. There's a market for LNG, and demand for LNG is projected to grow. Other countries have invested heavily in LNG.The reason that LNG is being considered for the BC coast is mainly for the benefit of reduced transit times to Asia - someone may disagree with this statement.
Q) Wondering what to do as HBK looks to have a great future if the projects do go ahead.
Ans: Do research and decide. Lots of info on HBK's site - presentations, reports etc. There are some good sumnmary posts here on this board, mostly by 4seasventures. Most reliable longs here (4seas, firebug, rimington etc) own shares. Max price so far is about 38cents this year, HBK's highest price over the last 8 years awas around 80 cents.19c is not a bad point to buy in, given HBK's progress (permits, site construction, orders) so far.
This advice is worth what you pay for it, do your own DD and consult qualified advisors before making any investment decision etc, as usual.
