Mitsubishi spent more , and they walked away , explain that , and POSCO walked away from their last two "partners" , so its very possible they could do it again.

how much Mitsubishi spent? I remember POSCO will spend 40m something on the pilot plan but i can't find the news right now. what other 2 partners POSCO walked away from? please advice the case.

I would guess it's some resource fund that face margin calls have to sell it here.

There are currently no funds invested in LAC.
Geologic Resource Partners LLC  is the biggest shareholder. Pinetree also holds 13.5m shares.

Geologic is now the owner and controlling entity of LAC , they are now management and considered insiders , so if they were selling , they would have to file insider reports and it would be public knowledge.
They are considered to be a financing institution and not a fund , at least in the case of LAC.

Feldman (CFO of Pinetree Caapital) , sits on the board of directors of LAC , and so Pinetree is also considered an insider ,
and would have to file any trading activity as well.

Personally I believe pinetree is selling. they are going to broke. if Geologic can't cross its position we will see more cheap shares. by the way,  Sheldon can dump Pinetrees share cheaply and buy cheaply from his personal investment account.

You could be right about that .
