RE:Surely it cant be legal to steal investors money Lol this is not a Ponzi scheme. A Ponzi scheme takes some competence and brains to run. This is just an old fool losing money doing everything against Investing Basics 101 - no diversification (almost everything in the TSXV and mining), buying non-operating money losers with high management pay checks, buying illiquid stocks, overleveraging (if he's going to take a high investment risk at least don't do it with debt) and now he's gotten caught after 5 years of minimal change to his bad strategy. . He finally diversifies into tech stocks but by then it's too little too late. ANY and PTK are only going to take him so far.
