Your right abc...it really is wishful thinking. I just can't see it ending this way...the Sangdong project just seemed to good, and I admit, I am being naïve.
There is NOTHING wrong with the project. If I had the resources I'd pay a .08 US for the company without hesitation. Someone should find out if Mr. Buffet feels the same given a chance for a direct aquisition. Afterall, he's SUPPOSED to take the long term, and a tungsten shorage is brewing in the immediate future, and indeed would already be on us save for big energy holding Fusion construction back to maximimize Peak Oil . . . now that oil depletion is all but a myth, maybe we'll see some progress. Part of the floor of the reactor, wear the helium ash is removed, known as the divertor, HAS to be made out of tungstsen, a material created when two neturon stars collide, in order to endure the "heart of the sun" conditoins that occur when there is a fluctuation in the magnetid field causing a temporary confinement breach (this mostly happens around the divertor where the field has to be at its weakest).
NO other material, including some REALLY advanced synthetics, has been able to handle the temperatures and plasma scorching.
