Almonty, Dundee and Share Price

Almonty, Dundee and Share PriceAlmonty and Dundee.
Almonty Partners LLC is a privately held limited liability investment company with Lewis Black and Daniel D'Amato partners (CEO and Director of Almonty Industries).  I do not think it involves Dundee or IMC.  Dundee was one of the 4 Agents that brokered the 17M private placement that funded Almonty Industries when they went public in 2011.  Dundee Securities brokers a large number of these deals. It is a financial company and that is what they do to make money. Im fact, Dundee's only obligation is to their share holders, not to Woulfe's. As long as Dundee holds Woulfe COMMON shares like us, our interests converge. And If for some reason Dundee does not think they have what it takes to see the mine through to production, their interest (and ours) will be to look for alternatives.  Mr. Gaucher on the other hand has his most important obligation to look for the best interest of ALL Woulfe shareholders, not just Dundee. If the deal with IMC collapses, having secured the LOI from Almonty will be seen as a good move.  If the IMC deal is still on, it may still be good negotiating tactic for the time being.  I have not come to conclusions on Gaucher's performance in all this. The next few days will be very interesting.

Share price drop.
8c is the interest that was shown by Almonty - for clear reasons. The "premium" mentioned in the NR is just after the fact window dressing. premium would have been indicated as 50% if the release had happened two days earlier. blaming stock price manipulation for the low value of the offer is not productive.
The SP of mining companies today has nothing to do with their real value.  The junior sector has been in free fall since three years ago.  A company like Woulfe (nowhere near  production three years ago) was worth 100M+ and people were more than willing to throw money at them.  Today a profitable company with producing assets (Almonty) is worth only 30M, and there is no money that wants to be invested in the sector.  Woulfe was worth less than 10M in October when I joined the board.  I thought that was insane.  Sangdong is not a hell-hole in Siberia or Central Africa. It is about two and one half hour drive from Seoul on good roads and a very scenic area. The real estate value alone is probably higher than that.  The share price is very low because that is the nature of the junior sector during a commodity crash. Nobody is buying or even selling these days, people are just throwing the towel. volumes on the Venture are almost as low as the CSE, and prices are even more depressed. Consolidation or failure is how the market proceeds at these junctures.
