RE:RE:RE:RE:Typing error in previous messageShlinker,

what do you expect ?
when the Sh*t hit the fan back in October and the whole sector collapsed !!
Companies can be categorized in order of risk, stability, liquidity, jurisdiction........

1: The Majors ( Exxon / Cheveron )
2: The Contenentals / Hess/ Whiting
3: Canadian companies
4: European large caps ( BP's )
5: Small cap US shake plays
6: Emerging market E&P's

So basically PTA or Colombia is at the bottom of the chain, that's no rocket science !
Having said that, Colombia is better than a gazillion countries out there and PTA is better than another gazillion small cap E&P's out there too with a great balance sheet !!
unfirtunately a few hiccups last year didn't help the stock.
If it was a mistake to hold on to PTA throughout last year (or the whole sector) it would be a greater mistake to jump ship now !!
anyhow everyone takes the risk that they can handle, so if PTA or Colombia is too risky then I highly advice to stay in bigger US firms .

Good Luck
