Another example is this oil price drop has been characterized as derived from extra supply.    This has caused unintellegent individuals who can only thing about one item at a time, to conclude the problem can only be resolved with reduced supply.

Intellegent investors understand the demand response will likley be more important.

While unintellegent investors debate if oil supply is growing or peaking, or about to decline (from reduced US drill rigs etc), the intelligent investors are looking at how much demand has already grown.   

The really funny part is watching those who can only think about one thing at a time respond to increasing oil prices by claiming there is no reason for the increase because supply numbers have not declined.
