RE:RE:Takeover?

RE:RE:Takeover? There has been so much rumbling about takeovers in general yet nothing has really happened since Talisman.  Something is up...and COS is the likely target.  There is simply no other way to explain the types of volumes we have been seeing this week.

Ironically, I got caught in the stop trade debacle.  I had bought 20,000 shares at $6.50 (or so I thought).  Was so spooked the next day when I saw $6.10 that I felt "grateful" the trades did not go through.  Funny...not feeling so grateful now (more stupid than anything else).

Sold half off in the nines.  The rest will have to go to at least $16 to balance the beating.  I am sure I was not the only one who capitulated a day too early.  What's been happening with COS is defying all logic.  I can draw no other conclusion than a takeover.

In some ways I am with those who would rather see it stand on its own.  But...as honeypot has often lamented, COS management might be better off letting go of the reins.  I don't think they have done a horrible job....but some hedging would have been prudent.  I doubt I could do any better...but if they didn't hedge and there is an offer on the table I sure as heck would be seriously thinking about it.  I will happily give my shares up at $18 though I am also one of those poor slobs who bought some at $24.  But oil will not be $100 anytime soon and $24 is years away.  I'd rather take something and move onto other stocks.
