RE:RE:RE:RE:Location Location LocationJim90: I am going to enlighten you what Flinders was really waiting for.

When you are doing business in mexico You have to keep in mind that when you’re getting mining rights, you’re getting rights for the underground, but you’re not getting rights for the surface. While companies can be granted mineral rights over a block of land for up to 50 years, these leases often break down after only a few years because of conflicts with ejidatarios (you can call them local government). The agrarian courts can even overturn leases and nullify contracts if they believe an agreement was not drafted correctly. (Flinders was waiting on Big North to draft a completed contract with the ejidor/or renew existing contract for surface right)

There is a misconception from Flinders that they believe once they’ve gotten a concession to operate a mine, have signed a lease and have obtained permits from federal, state, and municipal authorities, they’ve fulfilled their obligations and don’t need to continue talking with ejidatarios.

You need to build a relationship with the local government and its peoples. Big North Graphite owns 100% of the El Tejon but in reality you can't never own the surface right in Mexico. You need to negotiate it with the Ejidor and having a good relationship and social responsibility is critical in operating in such enviroment.

Another key information is that Spiro said local govenment is very supportive of the project and want to see it up and running. The local Ejidor know it will provide jobs and economic boost to the area.

The stock trading at this level due to uninformed shareholders that only rely upon Stockhouse board. A false rumour of ownership dispute and all hell breaks loose.

Flinders was either aware of the legal issues of operating a mine in Mexcio or they are just want to remove a potential competitor, that I do not know. What I do know is that every companies mining in Mexico is at the mercy of the local Ejidor (government), which I don't think Big North should have any problem because they currently have full support.
