stock2008....I don't think math is your strong suit sir.....your assumption of 8.4 million barrels extra is outrageous....and heres my proof....world currently consumes 4.6 barrels per person per year (and declining)...it has not been higher than 4.7 for the last 35 years...that mean we are MAXIMUM 2 million b/d below what is realistic demand peak today...now that I have disposed of that inaccuracy, on to your math......4 Billion barrels inventory is 476 days of supply NOT 40 days....so an abrupt increase in demand to historical highs could be covered by stored oil for 2000 days (which is more than 5 years)...the only event that could temporarily change glut situation is a major supply disruption such as Persian gulf being blockaded by Iran which could stop 10 million+ barrels a day instantly....but that would be militarily resolved well before all stored oil could be depleted....thank you for listening, that is my speech for the day
