RE:RE:COS has failed its Mandate put up the FOR SALE SIGNI am in alignment with honeypot...you make a coherent argument.  That COS has digressed to the point where the dividend is even less than when oil was much lower tells me they have not fulfilled their mandate to the shareholders.  We are the shareholders...and I will be sure to make this known when I can.  I doubt anyone of any importance reads this blog.

I expect there are others out there who that COS has a good chunk of Syncrude and there is long term value (especially if you believe, like Suncor, that oil will return to $80 sooner than later).

Legally, especially now with that Motley Fool article, both parties are obliged to either confirm or dispel the rumour.

Look at what is happening with Blackberry.  It is being investigated as to whether the Samsung rumours were intentionally spread to boost the stock price and make some insiders money.

Should be an interesting few weeks.
