The iron ore industry may be in a bit of slump, but that's not slowing continued exploration work in Labrador. Cap-Ex Iron Ore Limited has proposed to carry out mineral exploration assessment work in Lab West. The work will be carried out about 35 km northwest of Schefferville, Quebec, on the Labrador side of the border.


The company is hoping to carry out its mineral exploration work this year, pending environmental approval.
